{"id":7900,"date":"2015-10-06T16:43:11","date_gmt":"2015-10-06T19:43:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/redhustle.com\/blog\/?p=7900"},"modified":"2015-10-12T18:17:16","modified_gmt":"2015-10-12T21:17:16","slug":"target-concepto-clave-marketing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/redhustle.com\/blog\/target-concepto-clave-marketing\/","title":{"rendered":"Target: un concepto clave del marketing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>En marketing cuando hablamos de <em>target<\/em> o de mercado objetivo nos referimos a un espacio poblacional preferente donde confluyen la oferta y la demanda de un producto. En otras palabras se trata de un segmento id\u00f3neo de poblaci\u00f3n al que deber\u00eda enfocarse una empresa de acuerdo con lo que su producto ofrece.<\/p>\n<p>Se trata de un concepto del que se habla relativamente poco para la importancia que tiene y, cuando se trata, se suele limitar a enunciar variables b\u00e1sicas como son la edad, el g\u00e9nero y otras de car\u00e1cter socioecon\u00f3micas. Pero esto no es suficiente, el target requiere un estudio mucho m\u00e1s profundo o, por lo menos, una visi\u00f3n diferente.<\/p>\n<p>Definir un mercado objetivo y sobretodo saber orientarse a \u00e9l, es hoy en d\u00eda m\u00e1s necesario que nunca \u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Tres motivos, en primer lugar vivimos un momento en el que existe cierta restricci\u00f3n en el gasto por parte de los consumidores por las circunstancias econ\u00f3micas, en segundo lugar nuestro mundo tiende a globalizarse cada vez m\u00e1s aumentando as\u00ed la competencia y por \u00faltimo los consumidores buscan cada vez m\u00e1s productos espec\u00edficos para cubrir sus necesidades.<\/p>\n<p>En esta din\u00e1mica es evidente que no se puede intentar apuntar a todo tipo de clientes como hace unas d\u00e9cadas, esta es una realidad asumida por las grandes empresas que tienden cada vez m\u00e1s a segmentar su mercado ofreciendo distintos productos a distintos tipos de clientes \u00bfCu\u00e1ntos tipos de gel de ba\u00f1o existen hoy en d\u00eda? Ser\u00eda inconcebible que Sanex ofreciera un \u00fanico gel gen\u00e9rico.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pero trabajar el target no es tarea \u00fanicamente de las grandes multinacionales sino tambi\u00e9n de las peque\u00f1as y medianas empresas, estas pueden encontrar en la fijaci\u00f3n correcta del mercado objetivo una ventaja competitiva.<\/strong> Apuntar mejor a un peque\u00f1o nicho de mercado puede ser la clave del desarrollo de una peque\u00f1a empresa y es que puede que lleguen a entender mejor que otras empresas mayores cuales son las verdaderas necesidades de sus clientes.<\/p>\n<p>Dirigirse a un mercado espec\u00edfico no significa excluir a las personas que no se ajustan a tus criterios. Lo que se pretende renunciando al \u201cvoy a por todo el mercado\u201d es enfocar el presupuesto de marketing y el mensaje de la marca en un mercado espec\u00edfico que es el que demuestra m\u00e1s probabilidades de comprar el producto ofrecido. Lo que evidentemente supone un ahorro de recursos en aquellos espacios donde no iba a generarse rendimiento.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo descubrir tu target?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Analiza a tus actuales clientes.<\/strong> \u00bfQui\u00e9nes son tus clientes actuales, y por qu\u00e9 te compran?\u00a0Busca caracter\u00edsticas e intereses comunes. Es muy probable que otras personas como ellos tambi\u00e9n puedan beneficiarse de tu producto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>F\u00edjate en tu competencia.<\/strong> \u00bfA quienes se dirigen tus competidores? \u00bfQui\u00e9nes son sus clientes actuales? Puedes enfocarte a los clientes de tu competencia ofreci\u00e9ndoles algo diferente o aproximarte a un p\u00fablico similar pero que tenga necesidades m\u00e1s adecuadas a tu propuesta comercial.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analiza tu producto.<\/strong> Escribe una lista de cada sus caracter\u00edsticas.\u00a0Al lado de cada caracter\u00edstica, su funci\u00f3n.
